The Big Slide!

I was about to go on the big slide but when I got to the top I was scared so I went down the stairs and I went into the Earthquake House instead.
You can see Saturn and Jupiter in our sky at night. Venus is the brightest planet that we can see. Matariki is a group of stars which has a blue cloud over the top.

  1. Hi to you dear Heawane
This is your Poppy writing to you and I'm writing because your story is SO well written and SO INTERESTING
You wrote about our Earth and Galaxy which I find so intriguing !! I understand most things about our Earth and its structure and love learning about oceans, seas and tides and earthquakes. At the Auckland Museum we have an Earthquake room which looks like your lounge in Christchurch. You sit on the lounge couch and watch a huge TV screen and while the tv 'frontperson' is reading the News you can see in the background, our extinct volcano Rangitoto. Then an earthquake develops at sea and the waves that are created roll towards us sitting on the couch and WHEW - we get hit by this massive wave !! Thank goodness it is not real -just on the TV screen as it is SO SCAREY
It is to teach us to be prepared for earthquakes When you come up to Auckland we will go to the Museum to sit on the Earthquake couch. Keep up your very interesting story writing Heawane. Poppy loves reading your work
